Here is How
To Continue Your Ossian State Bank ATM/Debit Card
OVERDRAFT COVERAGE
Your Ossian State Bank ATM/Debit Card may have a
special feature called Discretionary Overdraft Privilege.
Due to
changing Government Regulation, beginning on
August 15,
2010,
all consumer ATM or everyday debit card transactions will be rejected
when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a
transaction unless you tell us you want to Opt In to cover overdrafts.
THE
CHOICE IS YOURS!
If you choose to Opt In, your ATM/Debit card will
work as it currently does.
If you
Opt In there is no cost to you unless we pay an ATM or everyday
debit card overdraft transaction. You can have peace of mind that
you Opted In for the protection in case you ever need
it.
What fees will I be
charged if Ossian State Bank pays my overdraft?
Also, if your account is overdrawn
for 5 or more consecutive business days, we may charge an
additional fee.
There is currently no limit on the total fees we can
charge you for overdrawing your account.
If
you want us to continue to pay overdrafts for ATM and everyday debit
card transactions, you must Opt In. If you Opt In, you may
have a safety net that saves you from the embarrassment of
a declined ATM or debit card transaction.
